Thermal Evaporation
In the department of Surface Technology, a plant for physical vapour deposition by thermal evaporation is available. The 50l system is equipped with two evaporators, a glow device, two rotary unions for sample handling and an in-situ layer thickness measurement.
The plant is particularly suitable for the production of metallic coatings on vacuum resistant base materials.
