Computer simulations are carried out to support experimental investigations for material optimization, method, process and equipment development. They are used for modelling in the description of complex systems. This can help in the application environment to save costly practical experiments and reduce the number of necessary optimization cycles.
Different commercial and simulation tools from our own development are used.
The focus is on computer experiments using molecular dynamic methods, field simulations, heat transport, and their combination for the determination of complex material and system properties.
