Universal testing machines are used to perform force-displacement measurements to determine material or component characteristics.
Depending on the tools and devices used, tensile, compression, bending, peeling, shear tests and many other tests can be performed. The tests can be carried out according to various testing standards.
Different force measuring ranges and test speeds are available for the investigations, depending on the testing machine used.
Force Measuring Ranges:
• Up to 500 N
• 1 kN
• 2 kN
• 5 kN
• 30 kN
• 50 kN
Testing Speeds: 0.01 to 1000 mm/min
Test chamber height: up to 2000 mm Test chamber width: up to 700 mm
For measurements below or above room temperature, a cooling and heating temperature chamber can be mounted. This allows analyses to be carried out in a wide temperature range from approx. -100 °C to 350 °C. A video extensiometer is available for the exact non-contact determination of deformations.
In addition to standardized testing and clamping tools such as 3-point bending tools, disc tools and mechanical collets, there are also collet chuck for ropes, pneumatic collets and various shearing and peeling devices available. For special testing tasks, appropriate fixtures are designed and manufactured by the in-house workshop.
