Pressure Polymerization Unit - Palamat
The Palamat units from Kulzer are compressed air-assisted polymerization devices (autoclave principle) for the production of hot as well as cold polymers and curing resins. Originally, it was developed for applications in dental technology.
In modified form, equipped with a pressure-tight cable feedthrough for measuring purposes, the devices are used for carrying out polymerization reactions under higher ambient pressure. Pressures of up to approx. 7.5 bar and temperatures of up to approx. 100 °C are possible. Polymerization under overpressure can prevent or minimize outgassing phenomena such as bubble formation in adhesives or casting compounds.
