Participation in the brokerage event Horizon Europe Cluster 6 in Brussels

Our colleague Torsten Kunz returned from Brussels with many new contacts to international companies and institutions as well as ideas for joint projects.

There, on September 26, the European Commission organized a brokerage event on the new Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls (food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment) in order to network potential applicants. Numerous participants from 38 countries accepted the invitation to the Charlemagne Conference Center.

The Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Call opens on October 17, 2023 and includes 75 new topics with 890 million euros in EU funding. The deadline for submission is February 2024.

After this exciting event with interesting pitches from selected participants, the development of a concrete project idea for the call “Climate-smart use of wood in the construction sector to support the New European Bauhaus” now begins. Further topics in research and transfer are in the pipeline.
