Coatings are produced on various substrates by flame pyrolysis using economy burners. In contrast to conventional coating burners, considerably smaller amounts of gas are required.
The burner is a laboratory model and allows a modular construction to different lengths with 1 to 3 flames.
The burner is made of aluminium and brass. It was manufactured using CNC machines, slotted hole drilling, laser cutting and conventional machines. The sealing of the water cooling is done with O-rings against the gas filled combustion chamber.
