New laboratory for INNOVENT

There is still not much to see, but already next month INNOVENT will have its own S2 laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment. Work is currently being carried out on setting up the laboratory equipment. As soon as these are completed, only the approval by the responsible authorities is missing. The laboratory with the safety level 2 must fulfill a number of requirements for approval, as the laboratory will work with human pathogenic and genetically modified materials. We plan to carry out established biological material tests as well as develop new test methods. Our objective is to be able to test the antimicrobial coatings developed at INNOVENT directly on site. This will save costs and time for INNOVENT as well as for our project partners. In our S2 laboratory, we also offer biological contract investigations for interested companies.
