In the field of magnetooptics we deal with the visualization of magnetic fields. This is done using magneto-optical sensors using the polar Faraday effect. This innovative sensor technology is used for stray field analysis and fast quality control of magnetic materials.
The magneto-optical sensor layers can be developed and manufactured for different applications. The layers are produced using the liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) process on the basis of single-crystalline substrates.
