CCVD - Combustion Chemical Vapour Deposition
Innovent is the world leader in CCVD research and development. This method is also called as flame pyrolysis and allows the coating with different oxides on various substrate materials in a nanometer scale under atmospheric pressure conditions.
Even the coating of polymer foils is as possible as of glass by means of this procedure. Besides an experience of many years Innovent offers already numerous solutions of coating issues.
applications
-
transmission enhancement / reflexion reduction of transparent substrates
-
barrier layers
-
corrosion protection layers
-
optical layers (low or high refractive index)
-
permanent enhancement of surface energy / wettability
-
adhesion improvement of powder coatings and other lacquering
-
improvement of adhesion ( in combination with primer systems)
substrates
-
glass
-
polymers (foils or plates)
-
ceramics
-
metals
-
stone
-
wood

Especially applicable are flat substrates or axial symmetrical substrates (e.g. bottles, tubes). Other substrates are possible by agreement.
- Maximum width of substrate: 1,20 m (typical 1 m x 2 m) by facility (see picture)
- Minimum width: some millimeters (typical microscopy slices or A4) by lab-devices
