Corona treater
Using a high frequency corona discharge it is possible to activate surfaces or to deposit functional layers on a workpiece surface. Between the two electrodes of a plasma head a plasma can be generated in form of a lot of microsparks and filaments. Feeding compressed air through the electrodes this plasma can be directed to the workpiece surface. Behind the commonly used plasma activation this method can be used for deposition, too.
